Claire Y. Hague, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on April 20, 1947, in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Claire filled her life with joy, laughter, and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her.

Claire was the cherished daughter of the late Edmond and Yvonne (Berthiaume) Tetreault. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Rita (Tetreault) Lanoue, Lucie (Tetreault) Holland, and Edmond Tetreault, who remain lovingly remembered.

In 1970, Claire married her loving husband, Harold Hague, and together they shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect, serving as an inspiration to their family and friends. Claire was a dedicated mother to her two daughters, Michele Duquette and her husband David, and Melissa Hague-Berube and her husband Normand. Family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished the moments spent with them, especially with her grandchildren: Matthew Duquette, Dylan Duquette, Ashley Howard and her husband Nicholas, and Sarah Berube. She also found immense joy in the company of her dog companion, Daisy May Berube. Together, they brought comfort and companionship to each other's lives, embodying the love Claire extended to all living beings around her.

Claire dedicated many years of her life to serving as a bank teller at Citizens Bank. She was a steadfast friend and confidante, cherishing the relationships she cultivated throughout her life. She understood the importance of connection, and her friendships were a testament to her caring nature.

Claire's infectious laugh and warm spirit could light up any room. She had a passion for shopping, and a love for cooking that brought family and friends together. Claire's fondness for playing cards often turned ordinary gatherings into cherished memories, and her love for music, especially the smooth sounds of Paul Anka.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, May 1st from 9:30am – 10:45am at St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Ave., Providence.
